SKILLED NURSING CARE OF THE SICK

  •     All skilled nursing provided under physician's orders
  •     Give special treatments
  •     Change dressings

  •     Assess and evaluate progress following hospitalization
  •     Teach families about their disease process
  •     The "how and why" of their doctor's orders

TRANSIT SERVICES

Transit Services at Affordable Cost through Worth County.  Transportation throughout the county and Mason City.  Transport within eight counties in Iowa for any purpose with priority given to medical appointments.

HOME HEALTH AIDE AND HOUSEKEEPING AIDE SERVICE

  •     Provide Personal care, baths, and shampoo
  •     Assist with light housekeeping
  •     Assist with meal planning and preparation
  •     Assist with exercise as needed
  •     Working with families and children
  •     Assist clients with everyday living activities   

COMMUNITY BASED HEALTH PROMOTION

  •     Teach client responsibility
  •     Flu Clinics
  •     Blood pressure screening
  •     Immunization program  Most up to date infomation
  •     Prevention education
  •     Health resource for schools
  •     Community education programs
  •     Maternal-child-adult-health and rehabilitation
  •     Communicable disease control, prevention and follow-up
  •     Referral resource for other community services, supplies and equipment
  •     Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening Income and eligibility guidelines 
  •     Community assessment
  •     Core public health functions

Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Veterans Administration, State and Federal Grants, Elderbridge Agency on Aging, Local Tax Money and Private pay are resources to help fund the cost of home care.  If  you are not qualified under these sources, the charge of a visit is scaled according to income.

Services shall be provided to all persons without regard to race, color, creed, sex, national origin, handicap, sexual orientation, age, marital status, status with regard to public assistance or veteran status, in compliance with 45 CFR Parts 80, 84, and 91 respectively.   

SANITATION

Though Grants to the Counties, we are able to provide these services:
  • Free Water Testing (ensure your water is safe)  Testing will measure: total Coliform Bacteria; Fecal Coliform Bacteria and Nitrate Level.
  • Well Closure financial incentive's
  • Cistern Closure incentive's
  • Well Reconstruction
