Manna of Worth County was established in the early 1980s and has provided food and supplies to innumerable families since that time. The number of those seeking assistance continues to increase monthly.
Since the 2010 holiday season with the help of local charitable organizations and funds, Manna has been able to purchase a building located at 94 9th Street North in Northwood. This is now the Manna distribution site and food vouchers will be distributed from this site for the upcoming holiday season. Those seeking assistance from Manna should call 641-324-8588. All requests are kept confidential.
Anyone can donate to Manna by leaving food, and/or cash donations at all churches and libraries in Worth County, the Northwood Theater, and the Village Florist in Northwood.
