Worth County Transit is operated through contract with North Iowa Area Council of Governments and dispatched through Worth County Public Health. We are the county and Manly City transit services.
The transit covers all communities in Worth County. We work throughout region II. This includes Worth, Winnebago, Mitchell and Cerro Gordo Counties. Other destinations can be arranged through linkage with other transit providers within the region. The Public Health Office will schedule the linkage for the client on request. The bus is available for any trip reason and all age groups. This can include medical, social, shopping, dining, work, school or college transports. Infants and small children need to supply their own car seat to be secured. We request that we know 24 hours in advance of your transportation need.
Ways to get assistance with paying your fares:
Chartered services are available through prior arrangements. The fee is $40.00 per hour.

Hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. as needed. Worth County has three buses available. Buses operate Monday - Friday. Buses are closed on the same legal holidays observed by the County Courthouse.
The Transit Service is NOT an emergency transportation system.
New to the transit service through NIACOG is the Fort Dodge Shuttle and the Saints Shuttle.
